Heart disease
As a veterinarian, you’ll see a significant number of dogs with heart disease. Approximately 10% of your patients will have the condition1, primarily older animals. Within this resource you can find all the information you need to understand, diagnose and treat the condition with confidence, and ultimately help dogs with heart disease get more from life.
How a normal heart functions is a great place to start, as this will provide a greater depth of understanding of heart disease and heart failure. The clinical signs of heart disease are presented, along with a valuable diagnosis overview, including the current ACVIM* cardiac guidelines. The treatment options for heart disease are also reviewed.
